Fans of low-cost smartphones will be pleased to know that the upcoming Redmi K50S Pro turns out to be a very interesting device indeed.
The latest leak comes from expert Yogesh Brar detailing all the specifications of the upcoming flagship phone from Xiaomi's budget brand, Redmi.
Leaked information shows that Redmi K50S Pro will have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate with HDR10+, integrated Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB internal memory , 5,000 mAh battery supports 120W fast charging. The device runs on Android 12, MIUI 13 platform, dual speakers and fingerprint sensor under the screen. On the back, the device integrates a triple camera cluster of 200 MP + 8 MP (ultra-wide) + 2 MP (macro), while the front is a 20 MP sensor for selfie needs.
A look at the specs reveals that the system has a couple of things that stand out. For example, the camera system lists a 200 MP main camera sensor, which, if true, would be the first high-resolution sensor on a Xiaomi phone.
Another cool feature on the device includes the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, one of the best features of Android phones today. 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Configurations for users to choose from include 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB. To make things more attractive, the product comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
The Redmi K50S Pro is part of the Redmi K50 series and will launch in China next month, at least at an initial stage. Xiaomi has a long history of rebranding Redmi phones as Poco devices and launching them internationally, so this exciting phone should reach the global market at some point.
